The Process

Ideation

When you contact me, I’ll ask for details about your project- I encourage you to fill out my contact form to expedite communication. We’ll talk about what you need, what you want, what you expect. I’ll give you a few pricing options based on your needs. Once you’ve picked the option that’s perfect for you, you’ll get a proposal going over all the details of your project. The production for your project will begin when you’ve signed the proposal and paid a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of the project.

Production

I’ll start by building you a moodboard for the project, including any reference images you provide and establishing a palette, tone, and anything else that’s important to you.

From there, I’ll explore ideas through numerous thumbnails and refine them into two sketches that will best fit your needs. You get to choose between them, and once you approve a final sketch, you’ll pay the rest of the invoice and I’ll start bringing your idea to life!

Final piece/Revisions

I’ll work to make your concept a fine digital illustration. Part of the project’s timeline will include a couple of days for me to refine the details and to sleep on the image so it meets both my satisfaction and yours. Once I’m happy, I’ll submit it to you for approval. One hour of revisions are always included to ensure that the piece is everything you want it to be. Additional revisions can be made for an additional cost. When the project is complete and you have the finished file, I’m happy to share the image and details of your project and/or work on my social media feeds to boost your visibility and expand your audience!
